How to Stand Out in the Marketplace
As a business owner and entrepreneur, you’ll get a lot of information thrown at you about how to stand out in the marketplace, and as a branding and design professional for the past 19 years, I have a lot of experience and expertise with that.
But while creating a truly unique brand for your truly unique business is vital, it’s not what I’m actually here to talk about today.
The creation of that branding and design is the step you move to AFTER you get total clarity on the 1st step, and that step is discovering and fully owning your unique value.
Because once you clearly see that, and truly own it, things will begin to take off like you would not believe.
If that is not happening, it may be because you don’t yet really believe you can do it your own way, you may still be believing on some level that you need to be “like them”— like other businesses or business models you see and admire— that you need to operate like them, compete with them and price like them, and are subsequently keeping your business (and yourself) constricted.
This is a product of scarcity mindset.
